What People Say

Most Liked

Patrons rave about the numerous options on the menu, particularly the Texas-style tacos and the flavorful tortas. Many highlight the generous portions and the richness of flavors that bring people back for more. Guests appreciate the ability to order a variety of shareable plates, making it a great spot for groups. The friendly, accommodating staff enhances the dining experience, consistently noted for their warm service.

Equal praise goes to the vibrant outdoor seating that embodies the heart of cooking outdoors—this is comfort food at its best. Fast service is another highlight; you can rush over for a quick lunch and still enjoy quality food without the wait. Plus, the family-friendly atmosphere draws in locals and tourists alike, providing a great mix of cultures and stories.

Most Disliked

While the vast majority of reviews are glowing, some diners express disappointment about the limited indoor seating, especially when it gets busy. This can sometimes lead to longer wait times during peak hours, notably on Friday evenings when the place hits full capacity. Although outside seating is available, not all diners prefer it, especially in inclement weather. Some reviews mention the awkward dish placement, making it tricky for patrons to navigate through the line during peak times.

On occasion, choices from the menu run low, particularly during the busiest hours, leading to some patrons feeling missed out on a favored dish. Reservations are accepted, but the popularity of the grill can lead to difficulties in securing a table on busy Friday nights.

You wanna put in question your loyalty for your favorite Mexican food or madres home cooking? This place will have you rethink what you have previously deemed the best taco or torta in town. You can’t pass this place by, the food is rich in flavor, large portions, no corner was cut, it’s fresh, original and absolutely worth the drive from Eugene. The only downside, I’ll be driving the 2-1/2 hours back as soon as possible because I have to share this with my other foodies. Enjoy! (Pictures are Birria tacos and manzanita torta with coleslaw) muy rico 💃🏽

We swung by Manzanita Grill on our lunch break and grabbed a couple Philly cheesesteaks—honestly, some of the best we’ve ever had. You can tell they put real thought into how they make them. The meat and veggies are cut just right, so you’re not pulling the whole sandwich apart with one bite. The sauce was on point too—not too much, not too little—creamy, flavorful, and didn’t sog the bun. I got the fries on the side and they were perfectly crispy and seasoned. My husband got the baked beans, and I’ve gotta say—they were packed with flavor and definitely not straight out of a can. Total comfort food, done right. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check them out. 10/10 recommend!

Came down from Portland for the weekend and saw this food cart had amazing reviews so we had to try it out (even though we aren’t big food cart goers). This place did not disappoint. I got a lettuce wrap burger (&wow best one I’ve ever had) and my husband got a spicy chicken sandwich. Both of our burgers were huge with good size portion for fries AND they give you sauce! Staff was also super friendly and accommodating. We will hands down be coming back whenever we are in town.

If you are ever visiting Oregon, you need to stop here! The food is soooo good and it’s some of the best tacos and burritos my Husband and I have ever tried. Even though we were full we couldn’t help ourselves to keep eating more because the flavors that they have combined together, words won’t do it justice. Service was amazing and the lady that took our order was so friendly and bubbly. Hats off to the cook and/or cooks that made our food, job well done!

I hit this food truck up every time I visit from Canada! I have dreams about the Nashville chicken sliders! The fries are always well seasoned and tasty, too! My partner had the west coast rueben sandwiches and bbq beans and very much enjoyed them as well. The food truck scene in Bend is next to none, in my opinion. This truck sits all by it's lonesome so you have to go specifically to eat here. You will not be disappointed!!

I had the French dip and it was worth every penny and then some. It came with a ton of fries. I'm just passing through but would eat here daily if I was a local. While waiting for my food I had a draft beer from the brew house at the same location. I highly recommend this place.
